New factory
JA solar announces the building of a new solar factory vertically integrated. An investment of 8,47 billion dollars. Over time, the factory will have a capacity of 100,000 MT of polysilicon, 20 GW of ingots and wafers, 30 GW of cells and 10 GW of solar panels. It will also include a new R&D centre.

GCLSI provides estimated net profits for 2022
GCL announces that is 2022 turnover will be between 765 million yuans and 865 million yuans, which is an increase from 62.7 to 84% compared to the previous year. Its net income should be between 36,8 and 55 million yuans.

Mass production HJT
Risen begins mass production of HJT Hyper-ion solar modules.
The company discloses its intention of increasing its hyper-ion cell production capacity to 5 GW by the end of the first half of the year and to 15 GW by the end of 2023.
Fundraising
Chint group has achieved with success a fund raise of 791 million dollars, including 216 million dollars dedicated to its subsidiary Chint solar which is specialised in research, development, manufacturing and market its cell and photovoltaic modules. This large sum will allow the firm to increase its production capacity and support its development plan.
